HOTEL SERRANO - BREAKFAST

Breakfast means " to break the fast ", in other words, to end the long nightly interruption when the body does not ingest any food. Skipping breakfast makes one more prone to be apathetic, careless, and nervous. And, since the battery that has been kept idling all night has to be recharged, it's best to start with nutritious food.

We present our breakfast selection, with menus carefully selected for all ages based on the quality of their products and their energy and nutritional content. At the Hotel Serrano, you will enjoy a healthy, balanced diet::

Our Breakfast Buffet offers

Selection of bread, Selection of juices, Fruit salad, ham and cheese, Tomato, Cereals, Butter, Honey, jam, pastry, coffee and tea.

Breakfast should provide at least the following:

Amino Acids: these are used to build tissue, bone, cartilage, blood, and muscle.
Phosphorus: essential for good health and mental effort. Found in brains, egg yolks, cheese and powdered milk, organs, shellfish, fish roe, almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, and peanuts.
Magnesium: strengthens neurons and relaxes muscles. Found in almonds, hazelnuts, whole-grain cereals, fish roe, cacao and soybeans, and certain crustaceans.
Potassium: needed to compensate for wear-and-tear on muscles and brain activity. Found in virtually all foods, especially in legumes, citrus fruits, bananas, etc.
